JAKARTA – Binawan University proudly announced the launch of its Endowment Fund Program, a strategic initiative in collaboration with MNC Asset Management. This program is designed to strengthen the sustainability of educational funding and provide tangible support for economically disadvantaged students. In addition, MNC Asset Management also conducted a financial literacy session on mutual funds for Binawan University alumni.
The launch ceremony took place on May 18, 2025, at the Binawan University Auditorium and was attended by university leaders, alumni representatives, and executives from MNC Asset Management, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration.
Farouk Abdullah Alwyni, Vice Rector for Governance and Resources at Binawan University, stated that the program is a true manifestation of the institution’s and its alumni’s commitment to creating lasting impact in the field of education.
“This Endowment Fund is a long-term investment in the future of our nation, especially for those pursuing higher education at Binawan University. Through this program, we aim to open more educational opportunities for those who have the passion and potential but face financial constraints,” he said.
Dimas Aditya Ariadi, Director of MNC Asset Management, remarked, “We see great value in the collaboration between financial institutions and the education sector. Through this financial education initiative, we hope that Binawan alumni and the university community will gain a better understanding of how mutual funds can be a sustainable and long-term investment solution. We also appreciate the trust placed in MNC Asset Management to serve as the Investment Manager for the Endowment Fund. Our hope is that this program will run optimally to support Binawan University’s scholarship initiatives,” Dimas concluded.
The Binawan University Endowment Fund will be managed professionally and transparently by MNC Asset Management, ensuring its sustainability and growth to continuously support academic activities and scholarship distribution.
The scholarship launched in conjunction with this program is named the “Alumni Tribute Scholarship,” as a tangible contribution from Binawan University alumni to future generations. The scholarship is intended for active students from various study programs who meet the established academic and socioeconomic criteria.
The program was launched during the Alumni Gathering, part of the 2025 Binawan Fair Week. This event served as an important moment to strengthen alumni networks and encourage other stakeholders to contribute to inclusive and sustainable higher education at Binawan University.
